Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!
Sleeping on your back can put significant pressure on your spine. You can ease that pressure by placing a pillow under your knees - but make sure you're sleeping on a mattress that suits your body type. Maybe try a firm one and don't sleep on your stomach!
Good posture is more important than you think
Poor posture and slouching can put more pressure on your lower back and alter the structure of your spine - stand straight and sit up straight when possible! Avoid sitting up in bed or slouching when at home - mostly just try not to bend forward in any way when seated or lying down
